What Is It High performance artisan concrete is most often a Portland cement based concrete.  The main components are Gravel, sand, cement and water.  The same stuff in your driveway.  What makes our high performance concrete different is the selection of materials that are added to the mix to improve hardness, density, flexural strength and to reduce porosity to create a durable surface.  The substitution of glass or other decretive aggregate to create a custom “look” is also quite common.
